Curtis PTA Cookie Exchange
Please consider donating some cookies, brownies, cakes or bars for our amazing Curtis Staff! We will be having a cookie exchange for our Curtis Staff on Thursday, December 19 during the lunch hour. If you would like to donate a dozen (or a few!) sweet treats to our Curtis Staff, please sign up below. Everything can be store bought or homemade. Whatever is easiest for you! All treats need to be labeled and especially if they contain nuts. You may drop off your treats to Petra Holford at 5563 Ura dr, McKinney, between Monday, December 16-Wednesday December 18, or send them with your child to school on Wednesday December 18th. (NJHS students can earn volunteer hours for donating cookies. See message from Mr. Stolp) There will be a table in the office for quick and easy drop off. Thank you for helping us celebrate our staff during this busy holiday season!

Dear Cougar Families,
On behalf of the Curtis PTA, welcome to Curtis Middle School for the 2024-25 school year! It is an honor to serve our Curtis community as PTA president. Curtis PTA consists of parents, teachers, students, and community members working together to enrich our school community. We support school staff, help promote student welfare, and assist in efforts to meet school needs through volunteering. Our collective efforts aim to create a supportive and engaging environment for our students to thrive. We invite all parents, guardians, and students to join the PTA. In addition to supporting students at Curtis, a PTA membership also strengthens the larger community of Texans interested in advocating for public education in Texas.
Members are welcome to attend our membership meetings. 2024-25 Membership Meetings at 10 am at Curtis Middle School on the following dates:
September 6th
January 17th
April 11th
May 9th
Our website, Instagram, and PTA Facebook page (www.facebook.com/CurtisMSPTA) are key places to track upcoming events, sign up to volunteer, purchase spirit wear, and so much more. Please visit them often. If you have any questions about PTA or how you can become involved, please reach out to me at: president@curtiscougarpta.org. Together, let's make this school year unforgettable for our students and community.
Thank you, Prachi Mohanty
Know an amazing volunteer?
Allen ISD Council of PTAs Citizenship Awards are given out to volunteers who give their time and effort to support our schools. These individuals are nominated because they go above and beyond what is expected and make a difference for our children.
Please use the link to nominate one of the many people who help the Curtis Middle School community. You may nominate as many people as you would like and as often as you would like. The Google Form will stay active all school year.
